Graduation

On Friday, I officially became a graduate. It's been a long time coming since I finished my course in June but I had the nicest time catching up with friends and traipsing round in my gown! Thankfully I didn't trip up or do anything embarassing on stage, and it was over in seconds so all that worrying was for nothing! I was shaking at the thought of having that many people watching me but it all went well. I actually don't even remember being on stage or the people before and after me having their names called out at all! It was a bit surreal but definitely a moment I'll remember forever.

In the evening my closest friends and I wined and dined at at a Japanese restaurant which was a first for me and someting I really enjoyed. I also discovered I like Sake, but not Baileys. The aftertaste of chocolate yes, but then I'd rather enjoy a hot chocolate instead!

My dress I got was this little number from Matalan (which is actually shorter in real life than in the picture on the website). I'm really favouring high necklines at the moment and I really liked the colour of this too. I wanted it to be smart and sophisticated but still really wearable so it's not a one time dress! You can also see my new hair cut too. I had about 6 inches cut off the ends would you believe! As much as I loved my long princess hair, this is much more managable and still classed as 'long'! xo
